I already have HSV type 2 and my only breakout for years is one lesion on a particular side of my genitals. Although recently I had a breakout that looked like the first time and on a complete opposite side with multiple lesions. What is this?

    Mine started on my labia. Same spot each time for a couple of years. Then it moved around a bit. After many years, it now hits the top of my butt crack every single time. My outbreaks are rare these days, so I didn't even think about it until you asked this question. Don't freak out. Yes, it moves along the nerve paths.
